Review: Mariah Carey – E=MC2 |
In today’s music industry, the market has made it extremely difficult for past artists to stay relevant with today’s time. With record sales being pissed out the back, its a struggle for artists to make a buck. Only a few can maintain their spot in the ring and Mariah is that chick. Her latest album, being her 11th, is flooded with quality tracks and genres that reach out to everyone. Believe me, there is something there for everyone. The girls can definitely vibe out to tracks like “I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time”, “Last Kiss” and the radio burner “Touch My Body”. While the guys can bang out bass-heavy tracks with the features of Damien Marley, T-Pain and Young Jeezy. Production on the album is contributed by Danja, Swizz Beatz, Tricky Stewart, DJ Toomp and, ofcourse, Jermaine Dupri. Whether you’re a fan or not, get used to a Mariah Carey summer. The radio stations are gonn grind her songs into the ground.
*She can still get it.
