Raekwon feat. Ghostface, Method Man and Inspectah Deck – House of Flying Daggers

OBFCL2

This shit is a problem people… Produced by the late great J Dilla! R.I.P. OB4CL2 set to drop Sept. 8th. Shit is going to be classic, based from the material I’m hearing. From the mixtapes to the singles/videos. Never any disappointment. (Dunno ’bout Golden Armz…) WU 4 LIFE! Be sure to get Blood on the Chef’s Apron if you havn’t already.

Jigga, What?

jay-z

“Last month, Jay-Z (who we hear might play a surprise show tonight) released the single “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)” and killed the Pro Tools plug-in forever — or did he? Marco Alpert, vice-president of marketing at software company Antares, tells the Times that sales of Auto-Tune are way up. “The Jay-Z controversy is great. We couldn’t buy P.R. like this.” Nice going, Hov!”

Ghostface Interview With New York Entertainment

wizofpoet

“Ghostface Killah said hello to the world with the very first verse on the very first Wu-Tang album, became a god to rap nerds with Supreme Clientele, and reached an all-time critical peak with the dope-dealing sagas on 2006′s Fishscale. Next up is a bit of a curveball — September’s The Wizard of Poetry will be an R&B-heavy affair, featuring collaborations with the likes of Raheem DeVaughn, Estelle, and John Legend. Ahead of his show at the Nokia Theater tonight, Ghost chatted with Vulture about mellowing out, rapping at seventy, and the appropriate way to sing about crack-slinging on an R&B album.”

Hit the jump for the rest of the interview.

It was bound to come about. I can spaz out crazy for this but…I’ll let the track speak for itself. Produced by Dr. Dre. Heavy tune!

Alice In Wonderland Trailer

Don’t boycott this trailer. This looks insaane! Classic Tim Burton craziness; i.e. Johnny Depp a portrayal as The Mad Hatter. Dropping March 5th, 2010.

Jay Electronica: Dear Moleskine (prod. by Just Blaze)

Word is, this is Jay’s single. Video was shot in Nepal, by this dude named Deacon, some months back since I seen the pics of it on his Facebook. Let’s hope the debut album is in the making since “What the F*ck Is A Jay Electronica” is one of the BEST mixtape/album EVER! Beat is bangin, has a Madlib sound to it, which blew me away coz it aint Bleezy’s style. Be sure to get Jay’s mixtape here if you havn’t already.

Thriller Action Figure

Via: HB

Paying tribute to the King of Pop, premier vinyl specialists Hot Toys work up a new set of Michael Jackson figures, showcasing the masterful work exhibited on his famous Thriller music video. The figures will come in a 1/6 scale, featuring all the intricate details one would come to expect from a Hot Toys release. A launch is set for December 2009 with a suggest retail price tag of ¥24,000 (Approx. $255 USD).

I like this a lot! The detail on the piece is ridiculous. MUST HAVE!
