“This was another great chance to hook up with Trans1 in South London to film him and another of his autonomous monochrome masterpieces. Trans has been writing graffiti for over 25 years, and now paints legal walls in the photo-realistic style you see here. The entire basketball court is the product of almost 2 years work. Sadly this site is about to be demolished to make way for more council housing. Trans features in the next (November-ish 2009) issue of Graphotism, the world renoun graffiti bible.”

Via: hypebeast Bobby Hundreds offers a closer look into the opening night of Mike Shinoda’s Glorious Excess (Dies) Exhibition that took place at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles. The show follows Shinoda’s highly-successful 2008 show, Glorious Excess (Born), exploring society’s obsession with celebrity culture, consumer addiction, and fascination with excess. Many top tier personalities were on hand, showing support for the artist and Linkin Park MC. For those that could not make the opening, Glorious Excess (Dies) will remain open to the public until October 14th, 2009. Shinoda’s been my fav and ahead of the game since day 1. Once again, the PlayStation goes on a diet. Ill model and the specs behind it, but the new look is a no go. Thank you Sony for NOT using that HORRIBLE controller the first time the spaceship landed.
