My favourite duo since Mef x Red return with a banging mixtape. The chemistry between the two is pure fluid and they sure know how to knock a joint out the park. The promo ads were hilarious, the buzz for the mixtape was strong and they definitely delivered with this effort. Hopefully, the masses will recognize the talents of these two and give them a bigger shot with their solo/combined projects. Super bad move on Weezy on letting go of Curren$y. Peep the dope track below & the tracklist and d/l link after the jump. The Layover: Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Julian Plenti video #2 from Julian Plenti on Vimeo. I found a set of short videos by Julian Plenti and was amazed by the visual details in this one. The music which accompanies the video is by Julian Plenti himself and his band. Enjoy the video and I will post more on the man himself. I recently got the chance to hear Julian Plenti is …Skyscraper and the production/arrangement just left me speechless. The album really is a breathe of fresh air and will open doors for others creatively. I wish there was more info available on Plenti himself, but I’m sure it’ll dig up soon enough.
Don’t got myself a Nano, don’t plan to, but this is heavy! Price is whatever. “Cassette tapes used to be all the rage in the 80s and early 90s until CDs came around and gave tapes the technological pimp smack. But Vancouver design duo Nathan Lee and Trevor Coghill, better known collectively as Contexture Design, won’t let the once popular format go quietly into the night. They’ve given cassette tapes a whole new life by gutting them and rebuilding them as cases for 4th Generation iPod Nanos. Named 45 Nano Cases after half the length of a D90 tape in minutes, they are available in 24 different colors and add an air of retro cool to your modern MP3 player. You can get yours now from Contexture Designs’ online store for $45 CAD ($41 USD).” Via: Juxtapoz |
