With Cam coming back, its kinda hard not to listen to the good ol’ Roc days and peep the joints off the classic Come Home With Me. One of my fav joints off the album was War featuring Memphis Bleek x Beanie Sigel. Production by the great Just Blaze. About time the instrumentals are hitting the CD market. I’ve been vibing out to this for endless hours/days since the mp3s first hit the net back in Sept/Oct last yr. I never found any Madlib interviews bout how he felt when Dilla left, but this right here is all there is to say. The 42 instumental journey has Madlib hitting every emotion on the scale, with J.Rocc doing an excellent job of mixing the record down. I highly suggest for all beat heads and music lovers to listen and have Vol.1-4 in your collection, before you jump directly into this one. The CD is dropping Feb 10th, and can be pre-ordered on Amazon or on the Stones Throw website directly, along with the Beat Konducta posters and such.
