- Drape the bow tie around your neck and under your collar and grasp the ends, with the end on your right extending about 1.5 inches lower than the end on your left.
- Cross the longer end over the shorter end. You should cross the tie near your neck so that the loop around your neck is just large enough to work with. You don’t want your bow dangling in front of your chest.
- Pass the longer end up through the loop, forming a simple, loose overhand knot. Grasp the loose (dangling) end that is now on your right and fold the end back to form a loop that is pinched between your thumb and index finger. Essentially, you want to double the right side of the tie (which originates on the left side of your neck) over itself to make the loop.
- Hold this loop, which will be the front loop of the completed tie, between your shirt’s collar points. Drop the left end of the tie (the one which you passed up through the loop and which originates on the right side of your neck) over the front of the bow.
- Form a new loop with the left end, just as you did with the first one. While still holding the loop you just made, double the end over itself.
- Position the new loop behind the front loop facing the opposite direction. Pinch the loops together with your thumb and push the second loop into the knot behind the front loop. The tip of your right index finger will be in position to push the end of this loop into the hole behind the front loop.
- On one side, the loop will be on the front. On the other, it will be on the back Tighten the knot by pulling the two loops together, and straighten the bow tie. To loosen or untie the bow, pull on the tails

“These photos are from a project concepted by the Nike Athletic Training Brand Design Team and the Football Marketing Team. LaDanian Tomlinson was paying a visit to the Nike campus for the first time and our team decided to do something special for LT. This project was a joint collabo between E. Scott Morris of the Footwear Team, Jason Murphy of the Brand Design Team, Joshua Smith of Hydor74, Isaac Perry of Paradox Media, Julian Duncan of the Football Marketing Team and Jason Badden of the Innovation Kitchen. The Innovation Kitchen funded the project and assisted in it’s development. We produced a book, a T Shirt, 1 of 1 sneaker and a one of a kind box. LT absolutely loved it. The goodies were presented to him at an event held on campus..This was truly a great project and special thanks goes out to all involved.”

Japanese retailer atmos continues its 10th Anniversary with this special watch, created in conjunction with Casio’s G-SHOCK. The timepiece features a multi-color theme, which has been a trademark of most atmos’ collaborations for the past few years. An official release is scheduled for next month, but a pre-order is now in effect through the atmos webstore.
I love atmos, but they suck for not having a store out here. Mad love, nonetheless. Their latest pair-up with G-Shock is simple and sleek. I likes the colors! Ya’ll need to see their Lacoste collabo. The pastel colors look amazing.

An interesting release has dropped in Japan from German brand Romika. Not exactly known for their stylish sneakers, the brand has come out with the “Tennis Ball” pack, which is definitely something for the brave among you. As part of the pack they present the low top Pirate sneaker and the mid top Korsar. Both come in neon yellow and neon green and are now available at Flauge.
Much cleaner and fresher than the Reebok Pumps released a while back. The green ones are looking extra crispy. More flix after the jump.
