Super C returns with her 3rd album and its definitely the type to add to your collection. I’ve always admired Ciara for staying out the nasty circle of rumors and sex-tape/pic leaks and just focusing on her music. And you can certainly tell her level of dedication by the quality of the product she puts out. The album is thoroughly impressive with flawless production, catchy melodies, the correct amount of features and super song writing. The 13 track disc features J.T., Luda, Chris Breezy, Jeezy, The Dream and Missy. The production game is handled by Danja, Polow, Darkchild (hella underrated, but he murked Pucker Up) and more. The record is a fun experience and has something for everyone to enjoy from up-tempo bangers as Turntables to the soft sounds of I Don’t Remember. Fresh off of submission, peep the 2nd video which will be viewed by Eminem. The 2 finalists will then be selected and head down to Detroit or NYC for the live battle. Eh-Yo! Here’s a quick update. As some of ya’ll know, Spooks entered Vibe’s Number 1 Stan contest back in April and uploaded a 60 sec video of his freestyle to Eminem’s The Way I Am. On May 4th, Spooks was selected by Vibe out of hundreds of submissions to be in their top 10. From here on, the top 10 will submit a second verse (freestyle to Till I Collapse) which will be viewed by Eminem himself, where he will hand pick 2 finalist by May 8th. The final 2 will compete in a live battle in Detroit or NY (TBD). Peep the video and show ya support by adding this link to your website/Facebook and sharing it with your friends. Hate it or love it, Crime Pays is well on its way and is looking great. Everything I’ve heard has been a banger and the tracklist seems very promising. Heard Jim pulled around 38k the first week. Mayer Hawthorne was on BBC 1Xtra with Benji B and debuted a couple brand new tracks from his upcoming album. The tracks previewed were “Maybe So, Maybe No”, “I Wish It Would Rain”, “Green Eyed Love” and “Love’s Alright”. This is the album cover to Chester French’s Love The Future from the phootshoot video posted earlier. Before the scheduled release for April 21st, the boys will be releasing a Clinton Sparks assisted full-length mixtape called Jacques Jams, Vol. 1: Endurance. The mixtape will feature the likes of Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, Pharrell, Janelle Monae, Bun B, Talib Kweli, Solange, Cassie, and many more. From D.A.’s previous Twitter post, he was trying to recruit KanYe for the tape. I’m sure Ye’s gonn wanna jump in the mix as well. Peep the track Jimmy Choos if you haven’t already after the jump.
