Here’s the trailer for Em’s short flick starring him and produced by MTV. MTV Movie Awards air this Sunday, May 31 at 9PM ET.

I’ve been in several endless discussions, debates, arguments and fights about this record since it leaked about 2 weeks ago. Therefore, I’ll only share the highlights of the albums and let the music speak for itself.

1. 19 of the 20 tracks (including the skits) on the album are produced by Dr. Dre. God forbid if the Detox never gets released, this will be the closest body of work to it.
2. The skits are well executed and they’re damn near iller than half these rappers actual albums. The skits make the songs twice as much complete and powerful. Mr. Mathers is my favourite one.
3. This album feels a lot like the sequel to the Marshall Mathers LP and it seems Eminem makes up for any past mistakes (Encore) that he might have made. I personally never had a problem with Encore.
4. The rhyming patterns and rhythm schemes are definitely like none other. Em slaughters through the Doc’s production and continues to remind us why he’s in a league of his own.

“Relapse” May 19th

Fresh off of submission, peep the 2nd video which will be viewed by Eminem. The 2 finalists will then be selected and head down to Detroit or NYC for the live battle. Either way, the kid received his signed copy of Relapse, hah. Head on over to Vibe Verses and peep the other contestants. Support ya friendly neighbourhood rapper. SPOOKS INVASION!!!!

Eh-Yo! Here’s a quick update. As some of ya’ll know, Spooks entered Vibe’s Number 1 Stan contest back in April and uploaded a 60 sec video of his freestyle to Eminem’s The Way I Am. On May 4th, Spooks was selected by Vibe out of hundreds of submissions to be in their top 10. From here on, the top 10 will submit a second verse (freestyle to Till I Collapse) which will be viewed by Eminem himself, where he will hand pick 2 finalist by May 8th. The final 2 will compete in a live battle in Detroit or NY (TBD). Peep the video and show ya support by adding this link to your website/Facebook and sharing it with your friends.
