The team was on Daytime earlier today. Spooks had the opportunity to talk about the company, Dusty Loops, his influences and the upcoming G.I.F.T.S. project. The show ended with Spooks and the band performing “Next Up” (produced by Dusty Loops) which is the lead single of the upcoming mixtape. The show will be repeated at 10:00pm and 4:00am on Channel 10. I still haven’t had a chance to check out Salvation, but this interview has definitely got me hyped for it. I find it hard to believe that Batman doesn’t watch his own movies and actually likes a couple remixes of The Rant. He’s a great hard-working guy, but the man still scares the sh!t outta me. I’m really hoping he signs on for the the next Batman, as he is very picky about doing sequels and scripts. Enjoy!

Please tell us Terminator Salvation is going to rock. Please tell us the title represents what this fourth installment will do for the franchise.
Look, I hate to throw people under the bus for making movies I don’t think are very good. But for Salvation to be considered with any legitimacy, you have to throw number three [Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines] under the bus. It began to spoof the whole thing. To me, that was a sign that the franchise was dead, the mythology was finished.

You rescued the Batman franchise from spoof by giving us a dark, even dislikable Bruce Wayne. Is Christian Bale now the go-to guy when an action franchise needs a booster shot of serious?
Look, that’s laughable. How serious can a movie about time-traveling robots be? You want it to be cool and fun.

Bombing Science recently caught up with Chi-Town graffiti artist Pose for an interview.

“Bombing Science: How did you get into Graff and what were your early inspirations?

Pose: Boredom and the unbelievable urge to be up everywhere and rock burners.  In the early nineties (pre buff) Chicago’s graff scene was BOOMING!  There was so much good graffiti and so many writers, shit was destroyed, riding the trains as a child it was the most unbelievable shit I had ever seen, nothing could describe it.  With Graff visually sinking in your whole childhood you just get to a breaking point where you go out, rack some shitty cans and try your hardest to figure it out. Then comes the wildfire that takes over your life, the excitement, bombing, chases, beef, wars, court cases, racking, friends, fights, good times, stories, travels.  The next thing you know it just completely consumed the last 17 years of your life.”
