Parra x Converse (RED) Chuck Taylor Hi

Following up on the recent animated trailer, we get a closer look into the latest project between popular Dutch artist/illustrator Parra and Converse. Part of the (RED) campaign, the shoes feature a beige suede upper with Parra’s cherry character immortalized in an embroidered all-over motif. Look out for a release soon through finer Converse accounts, including Limited Edt Chamber in Singapore.

Parra x Air Maxim 1

Parra, the man behind the Raise It Up For Ma Dukes shirts, has just collabo’d with the folk at Nike to bring ya something special for the holiday season. Not much information has surfaced about the release, but the rumors about this myth of a shoe have all been deaded. Peep more flicks after the jump and stay tuned for further info.

RAISE IT UP FOR MA DUKES!

The title and the shirt say it all. Dilla’s mother is battling with the same blood disease, lupus, which claimed her son’s life. It’s a very unfortunate and sad situation, therefore all $$$ from the shirts will go directly towards Ma Dukes foundation. The tee is designed by the artist known as Parra, who has helped design several other items for the Stones Throw catalog. Parra was not happy with the recent Vibe article, so he decided to act and raise awareness. I just ordered mine and am waiting for it sometime this week. Every dollar counts, so please help out for a great cause.
