Hello World! How’s it going? We would like to thank everyone who has supported and shared the videos that we’ve been putting out for the past 3 weeks. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback and excellent collaboration opportunities from talent all over the map. We’re currently scheduled for the next 3-4 weeks, but soon as it clears up we will be hitting ya’ll back. The shot you see above is from the next set of video he shot last Friday. We’re on the promo grind for the rest of the week and will be releasing the new ones next week. For those of you still catching on, head on over to the Waffles and Beatz Youtube Channel and check out the art x music videos.  Do remember to rate, comment, subscribe and share. All schools of thought are welcome. A lot of you have been asking to see more beat videos and work-in-progress footage of myself & Spooks and we’ll definitely put those out in a couple of weeks. We were invited to Inked this past weekend. It was an event organized to display Toronto’s best tattoo and body artists. With the least amount of time we were given plus our conflicting schedules we were able to scheme out a new back drop for the show. We went with an ice age theme. Usually I’m the one with the characters, but I decided to switch roles with Wong. Hit the jump to see more detailed pictures of the mural. Hello Daily Readers. Happy Reading Week for the ones it concerns. If not, Happy Regular Week either way. Family days was much of a hiliday for us, as its work all the time round hurr. Been a minute since I’ve posted any updates, so thought I’d fill ya in and give ya a heads ups. Let go through this quickly…

• Wong will be at the auto-show (Rogers Centre) till the 21st, so be sure to salute the boss if you catch him and cop one of the sexy Soul Image body-art posters.
• Thank you to everyone for hitting us up about Spook’s Dilla Day freestyle. He’s in the studio, working. No time off, truss me. Sampler coming real damn soon. My word to the public.
• Shout outs to Flash, who came through and ran a photoshoot with us. I’ll be introducing Flash real soon and giving him his own pad on the site, for ya’ll to check out his work and etc.
• Waffles x Beatz and Soul Image will be at Royalty Radio TONIGHTat 8-10pm. Be sure to tune in and support ya boys. I’ll be posting the online radio link asap.
• All the websites (Facebook, MySpaces…) will be re-launching very damn soon. We’re just getting things together to give ya’ll a well-deserved presentation. Believe me, you will likey!

Hello World! It’s ’bout 8 in the morning, cold as hell, real quiet in the Mac room and I’m burnt as ever. Still waiting on the coffee boy (hah, Happy Burfday Munna) to bring me back my snack. I haven’t had the chance to update ya’ll on any of the current events, as I’m still trying to catch up for the last 2 missing weeks. I got a ton of photos to share from my trip, but only time will tell when I’ll actually get around to posting them. To most of ya’ll it prolly wouldn’t mean sh!t, but I can’t seem to get over my trip to the Tate Modern Museum. Everything was exactly as I had wanted it to be and much more. Now I can actually say that I’m one of those ppl who has seen a REAL Andy Warhol. I’d seen 4 canvases of his and they were even more impressive and amazing from a meter away than in my books/comp. Back to bidniz…soooo, we’re back!! Another year. More projects. More posts. More memories. For those of you msging me and asking about the Facebook and all, it’s all true. I’ve taken down most of the sites and contact places, as I’ll be rebooting them sometime in Feb. I don’t wanna give too much away, but ya can expect a Soul Image Art Show coming along, where I’ll be expecting you all. Wong, Ben and myself have been working on several pieces and everyones definitely doing their best to out do the next artist, ha. Got a couple other surprise artists who will be contributing to the show. Also, we’ll be hitting up Royalty Radio sometime in Feb, more info to come. Shout outs to our folks Dre/Drega at the station. OH, before I forget, Spooks is also on his grizzly and will be working on the music asap. I got 2 freestyle by Spahkz on the other hand, which I’m very iffy bout whether I wanna share ‘em, hah. This was a last minute gig, but as usual, the team blew it out the park. Thanks to the promoters, Eugene/Paulo for taking care of us and the lovely ladies of Elite Class. Big shouts to DJ Clipz, who flew down from UK to perform some serious cuts.

Hello, World! It’s been a messy, busy ass month. Too much happening, one after another. Shout outs to everyone who had a burfday this month. I know atleast 7 ppl with bday along the same week. I know ya been seeing alot more of everything else, and less of what we got going on, but its all on the DL for now. The paper works being processed and everyone’s just working hard to get everything together. I know I’ve been extremely busy with errands, exams, assignments, music and the site. Alot more to this, then just randomly blogging. Thanks to all who have been visiting on the daily and show the boy love. Thanks to Alana Marie for giving us a shout on her page. I’ve got one last exam today for 9am and then I’m OFF for a good week. I know my phones gonna be OFF starting Tuesday, so don’t get vexed or nothing. I just need to be away for a good week. This is the only week I’ll have to run some meetings and get the music going once again. I promise, I will have more material to display soon enough. Everyone’s timing and schedule is just WACK, so I’ll have to stretch it a bit to make things happen this week. BTW, Eleven is on his way (my godson), so I really gotta get cracking on painting a canvas for his room. I’m off to get some sleep, so I’ll check ya in a good minute.
