Eh-Yo! Here’s a quick update. As some of ya’ll know, Spooks entered Vibe’s Number 1 Stan contest back in April and uploaded a 60 sec video of his freestyle to Eminem’s The Way I Am. On May 4th, Spooks was selected by Vibe out of hundreds of submissions to be in their top 10. From here on, the top 10 will submit a second verse (freestyle to Till I Collapse) which will be viewed by Eminem himself, where he will hand pick 2 finalist by May 8th. The final 2 will compete in a live battle in Detroit or NY (TBD). Peep the video and show ya support by adding this link to your website/Facebook and sharing it with your friends. Alright everyone you all must know that this is my first note and this will be THE ONLY thing i will ever note about. 1. Converse Japan: Expo Nippon – Several themed (or not) sneaks being released and will feature highlights of Japan’s tradional crafts. The kicks will be released at various Converse locations in Japan this month.
2. The return of Killa Cam – I still say the Pink Panther was highly taken for granted and was never credited for creating the indie movement (Koch, Asylum), mock humor and the name of Fif’s 3rd album.
3. Detox Leaks – As saddening the situation is, it just further lets us know that the album is well on its way and will be ghostwritten by the greats.
4. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia – A live action version of the Family Guy. Much better. *patiently waits for the Chemical Toilet – Night Man vinyl release.
5. The Venture Bros. Season III DVD – Finally drops March 24th. Gorgeous box-art as usual.
6. Parra’s Ma Dukes Tee – After nearly a month and stoopid post-office drama, it finally came in. Be sure to cop yours and support Ma Dukes. Much respect to Stones Throw for the extra goodies.

Last week was hell and everything that was suppose to go wrong went wrong. Still, we managed to move against the grain and get things accomplished for this BIG week. Much thanks to Flash who was able to fit us in and get the photo grind done. We came up with a new technique and we’re definitely gonn show that off in due time. Much love to Royalty Radio for having us and all the callers. Big ups to the boss Wong and everyone who hit him up at the auto-show. The shirt design came off well and I was able to fill up an order which was way more than I was expecting. The ones I couldn’t get, believe me…I’ll be getting on the 2nd orders ASAP. And YESSSS…the Spooks Invasion sampler is finally done and will be given out this coming Thursday at Static [77 Nightclub. Hamilton]. I’ll be making the download available for Thursday as well, but make sure you hit me up if you want a CD. It’s FREE. What more could you ask for!!! This is just a small body of work for the ppls, just to let them know what’s coming ahead. Ppl been asking and now ya can have it. The sampler is produced by yours truly and features 5 1/2 tracks [5 tracks, 1 snippet]. We just need to print off the flyers, package ‘em and we’re good to go.
