Fresh off of submission, peep the 2nd video which will be viewed by Eminem. The 2 finalists will then be selected and head down to Detroit or NYC for the live battle. Eh-Yo! Here’s a quick update. As some of ya’ll know, Spooks entered Vibe’s Number 1 Stan contest back in April and uploaded a 60 sec video of his freestyle to Eminem’s The Way I Am. On May 4th, Spooks was selected by Vibe out of hundreds of submissions to be in their top 10. From here on, the top 10 will submit a second verse (freestyle to Till I Collapse) which will be viewed by Eminem himself, where he will hand pick 2 finalist by May 8th. The final 2 will compete in a live battle in Detroit or NY (TBD). Peep the video and show ya support by adding this link to your website/Facebook and sharing it with your friends. Anywho, thanks to all who came out and supported us past Thursday at 77. The shirts were a great look and the event went swell. Big ups to the legendary DJ Ritz for holding hold the spot. Hey hey, (Krusty laugh!) tomorrow is the big day! It’s STATIC at club 77. If you find yourself in the Hamilton area and looking for a party, please come through and enjoy a great night that will include body art, and giveaways all night. Last week was hell and everything that was suppose to go wrong went wrong. Still, we managed to move against the grain and get things accomplished for this BIG week. Much thanks to Flash who was able to fit us in and get the photo grind done. We came up with a new technique and we’re definitely gonn show that off in due time. Much love to Royalty Radio for having us and all the callers. Big ups to the boss Wong and everyone who hit him up at the auto-show. The shirt design came off well and I was able to fill up an order which was way more than I was expecting. The ones I couldn’t get, believe me…I’ll be getting on the 2nd orders ASAP. And YESSSS…the Spooks Invasion sampler is finally done and will be given out this coming Thursday at Static [77 Nightclub. Hamilton]. I’ll be making the download available for Thursday as well, but make sure you hit me up if you want a CD. It’s FREE. What more could you ask for!!! This is just a small body of work for the ppls, just to let them know what’s coming ahead. Ppl been asking and now ya can have it. The sampler is produced by yours truly and features 5 1/2 tracks [5 tracks, 1 snippet]. We just need to print off the flyers, package ‘em and we’re good to go. Make sure you reach out to 77 this Thursday to see ya ppls in full effect and grab the CD off one of us. Also: BODY-PAINTING is going down. Got a couple lovely ladies who wanna help out.
