I was recently watching The Simpsons, and then I saw this old gem, which I just HAD to post immediately…

This was funny the first time I saw it, it was funny the numerous times I’ve seen it since, it was funny the last time I saw it, and it will be funny for the foreseeable future. BEST SHOW EVER, any objections?

Simpsons HD??*

Well good day folks, life in HD is not so bad. Yesterday was a history making day in my little existence, and I’m not talking about the rigged bore-fest NBA All-Star game. What I am referring to was the debut of the Simpsons in High-Definition. I’m gonna admit it was a very tense switch for me. Recently Regis & Kelly went HD and I thought that was as HD as I’d ever need in my daily entertainment.  I guess maybe a part of me thought it could look like the picture above….I kid I kid, that’s a hideous picture, but pretty jokes too. I originally felt uneasy about the new starting and all that, I believe in change, but like this? But after dissecting it about 1000 times over the weekend I learned to really really love it. It’s a great starting, that as one of our readers said, was “pure Simpsons”, the only reason  it seems kind of long was due to the fact that the couch gag segment went on for what seemed like forever. People, it has happened. The much rumored, much alluded to event is finally going to occur. That’s right folks, THE SIMPSONS are going to HD. This Sundays episode of the classic TV program, and my personal favourite of all time,  will be the first ever shown in HD…..I think I might cry during this event, but that will be because the clarity o the screen will make my eyes water, not because I’m soft or something..or is it?…BUT there may be some controversy about this move…check this out

Oh good god, I hope this isn’t the permanent new starting. I like change, but not this type of change. I really hope they make this a one time thing and then revert to the classic starting you know, just like they did with the movie starting and some Christmas episodes. I’m really uncomfortable with the HD starting, I don’t know why, maybe it just shows it truly is a new generation for this show, and I’m reluctant to admit it. Anywho, I wish the show says on forever and well the new HD does look amazing next stop 3-D!!
