It’s kind of crazy but with the 2 other viral videos (can be found here and here), they have gone through 3 decades and 3 distinct styles of media coverage of the Watchmen. I really like this movie already, just based on it’s advertising.*

Watchmen Babies in V for Vaction |
I’m a well documented Simpsons FANATIC, so when i saw Dusty’s post from a day or two ago with the Simpsonized Watchmen characters (Dean at Springfield Punx is amazing!) I immediately thought of the scene where Milhouse try’s to get Alan Moore to sign this abomination with a catchy as hell title….

They Settled!!! |
Good morning ladies and gentleman, it is with distinct pleasure that I can announce to you that the “Watchmen” case has been settled. Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox came to some complex and slightly convoluted agreement that will allow the movie to be released on the scheduled date of March, 6, 2009. I’m so bloody happy right now, and well if you want more info you can check it out at this link. Rejoice folks is a good day…

The Watchmen movie may be alright after all… |
Well folks, for those of you who have been following the Watchmen legal wranglings of late there is some really good news, the court date of January 20 has been canceled by both sides and they are inching ever so closer to a settlement. The settlement will mean that the movie will be released on time, with no bulls**t, hopefully. I think that’s absolutely splendid news and well, here is a new TV spot for the movie that I’m sure will fuel further excitement for this film….
