Fact, I watch a lot of TV. Throughout the years I have been what some would call a couch potato an avid TV watcher, and I’m quite proud of it, I think it’s made my life a little more funny and somewhat enriching. Anywho, despite my “avid TV watching”, I’ve never been into any shows really. I’m sure most will not grasp that concept, but I don’t watch anything regularly. I don’t do sitcoms…name a sitcom, and I probably don’t watch it regularly…I don’t do dramas, I don’t do TV movies….I DEFIANTLY don’t watch reality TV, god how I loathe reality TV, but as is another topic for another night, but pretty much I watch very few programs “religiously” as they say. However when I do get attached to a show, my god it becomes a damn near obsession of mine, I become a devoted fan and the rest is history….ask me about Simpsons and you better be ready to hear an encyclopedia worth of my ramblings.

One of my favourite programs on TV had to be Late Night with Conan O’Brien. That show introduced me to late night talk shows as mainstream medium of entertainment and a new brand of humour I never thought possible. I started watching about …6 or so years ago, and I tell you, I have made it a point to watch almost every night. The host is this tall, weird looking fellow, who went to Harvard and once wrote for The Simpsons and SNL, and well he is probably my favourite talk show host/TV personality host of all time. Around the era I started watchnig Conan, Chappelle Show was also huge and well my life was never the same, the surreal comedic stylings of these 2 comic geniuses changed me forever. Well Chappelle has come and gone, and now Conan O’Brien moves on to what is honestly probably a better opportunity for him down in Universal City, California. It was defiantly sad to see him leave the big apple, and the last episode was so class, but one must move on. Best of luck Conan, you are the king of late night comedy, now it’s time for the world to take notice.

Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien begins in June/ 1/2009 till then enjoy his wide variety of amusing clips available on the site.
